BİRÇOK HASTALIKTA KULLANILAN KIRMIZI REİSHİ MANTARI İLE İLGİLİ BİLİMSEL ÇALIŞMALAR.

Kırmızı Reishi mantarı ( Ganoderma Lucidum ) özellikle Çin’ de ve Asya kıtasın da 2000 yıla aşkın süredir; vücudun bağışıklık sistemini güçlendirmek, vücudu toksinlerden arındırmak, metabolizmayı canlandırmak, kalp ve dolaşım sisteminin düzenlenmesine katkıda bulunmak, yaşlanmayı geciktirmek, konsantrasyon bozukluklarının ve uykunun düzenlenmesine katkıda bulunmak ve de kanser hücreleri üzerindeki etkileri nedeni ile geleneksel bir yöntem olarak çay şeklinde tüketilmektedir.

Kırmızı Reishi mantarının içerdiği birçok etken maddenin, insan sağlığı üzerindeki olumlu etkileri ile ilgili yaklaşık 30 yıl boyunca birçok bilimsel çalışma yapılmıştır.(1)Bu mantarın sağladığı faydaların birçoğunu antioksidan özellikleri oluşturmaktadır.(2, 3)Ayrıca kırmızı Reishi mantarı bağışıklık sistemini güçlenmesini ve hücrelere giden oksijen miktarının artmasını sağlayabilmektedir.(4)

Kırmızı Reishi mantarının; kanserli tümör gelişimini engelleme olasılığıyla ilgili çalışmalar yapılmıştır.(5, 6)Reishi mantarının ileri derecede ki kanser hastalarının bağışıklık sistemini stimüle görülmüştür.(7)Bir başka çalışma da ise besin takviyesi olarak kırmızı Reishi mantarını kullanan akciğer kanserli hastaların hayat kalitesinin %65 arttığı rapor edilmiştir. Birçok farklı insan kanserleri üzerine hücre düzeyinde yapılan çalışmalarda ; kırmızı Reishi mantarının içerdiği birçok etken maddelerin ; kanser hücrelerinin proliferasyonunu ve invazyonunu inhibe ettiğini ve de kanser hücrelerinde apopitozisi indüklediği tespit edilmiştir.( 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 ,25)

Kırmızı Reishi mantarının hayvan deneklerde yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda pankreas hücrelerini korunmasında etkili olduğu ve tip 2 diabette karşı kan şekeri seviyesini düşürdüğü ve hipoglisemik etki potansiyeli taşıdığı gösterilmiştir.( 26, 27, 28, 29)

Kalp ve dolaşım sistemi üzerine farklı etkileri gözlenen kırmızı Reishi mantarının yapılan hayvan ve insan çalışmalarında; trombosit agregasyonunu inhibe ettiği, anti-hipertansif etkisinin yanı sıra anti-oksidan etkisi ile de kalp kasının korunmasında etkili olduğu görülmüştür.(30, 31, 32, 33)Ayrıca Kırmızı Reishi mantarının kan trigliserid ve LDL kolesterol düşürücü etkisi ile de kalp ve dolaşım sisteminin korunmasına katkıda bulunmaktadır.(43,)

Kırmızı Reishi mantarının en önemli özelliklerinden olan, bağışıklık sisteminin güçlendirici ve harekete geçirici etkileri; bulaşıcı hastalıklarla ve iltihaplarla mücadelede önem taşımaktadır. Özellikle herpes ( uçuk ) virüsüne karşı antiviral etkili olduğu yapılan çalışmalarla tespit edilmiştir.(34, 35, 36) HIV üzerine yapılan in-vitro çalışmalarda; Kırmızı Reishi Manatarının ihtiva ettiği birçok triterpen formunun, anti-HIV-1 proteaz etki gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.(37, 38)

Temelde dopaminerjik nöron hasarına bağlı olarak gelişen Parkinson hastalığına ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalarda; kırmızı Reishi mantarının; dopaminerjik nöronların korunmasında etkili olabileceği görülmüştür.(39, 40, 41)Ayrıca Alzheimer hastalığına üzerine yapılan bir çalışmada; Alzheimer nedeniyle beyindeki nöronlarda beta-amiloid peptid birikimi nedeniyle oluşan nörotoksisiteyi antagonize etme potansiyeli taşıdığı görülmüştür.(42)
